I LOVE helping others to become the healthiest version of themselves that they can be! I love it because before BODi, I was a mess. I see the difference it has made in MY life, and I’ve always been amazed by the connection between eating nutritious foods & getting regular exercise to how you feel, function and think. I want to share that with everyone. It feels GOOD! And it gives me a REAL sense of purpose!
I have had an interest in health & wellness all of my adult life. I was sort of forced to take an interest as I was starting to experience symptoms of several medical conditions by the time I was in my late 20s. I’m not going to go into a detailed explanation of what each of these conditions are, that would make for a long, boring read. But, know that combined, they are quite tricky to deal with, and lead to good days and bad days. However, THESE days…. I have more good days than bad. And that makes me happy!
· It started in my late 20s with a Hyperactive Thyroid, which took a couple of years to bring under control.
· Then in my early 30s they discovered I have a congenital defect in my pituitary gland, causing my cortisol to spike out of control off and on. Which, they believe is the answer to why I suffered 2 miscarriages.
· In the same brain scan, they discovered that I have a Chiari Malformation, which explains why I’m so clumsy. I have opted to not have surgery. I don’t want them poking around in my brain unless it is truly a quality-of-life issue. I can deal with the symptoms.
· I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in my mid-30s. THIS ONE is the most difficult to deal with. It causes body aches, fatigue, and a whole host of other symptoms. You sorta feel like you have the flu most of the time, minus the fever.
· I developed Atrial Fibrillation (Afib) after having Covid, and received a cardio-ablation in late 2023. The ablation worked, but now I have Ventricular Ectopy – nutshell…..irregular heartbeats
· I have Carpal Tunnel.
· I’m going through Menopause.
Mix all of this together and you have quite a little mess on your hands. BUT, I have brought it all into a manageable mess by eating dense nutrition, working out regularly, bringing routine into my life, and managing stress by living a fairly holistic lifestyle. It’s quite amazing how it all works together! And the reason that I represent BODi is because their products bring all of what I need, together to work in sync. Bringing nutrition, workouts (for EVERY fitness level), meditation, routine, mindset, and community together in one place. True synergy for me!
